Farmhouse and Amenities

I purchased the farmhouse and its associated seventeen acres in early 2003. The picture above shows it after a complete interior and exterior renovation, a process that took over two years. Aside of the modern bathrooms mentioned on our homepage, and modern kitchen, we have two heating and air-conditioning systems, serving the ground and first floors independently.

Breakfast can be served either in the dining room or on the porch, both having wonderful views of the garden, lake and wooded hills.

In addition to diverse activities available within a few miles (Shreve, Wooster, Wildlife), many of our guests are content to stay on the farm and enjoy one or more of the following old-fashioned pleasures:

-       Fishing in our well-stocked spring fed lake.

-       Croquet on our manicured (or at least well-mown!) lawn.

-       Afternoon tea in the parlor, or on the porch.

-       An evening bonfire by the lake.

-       And, last but not least, strolling around the farm!
